Celebrating fifty years of marriage is no small thing, and being trusted to help honor that legacy was incredibly meaningful. From the beginning, the clients were warm, generous, and genuinely excited. They left much of the design in my hands, which allowed me to create something deeply personal and visually layered. Bold color became the foundation, brought to life through carefully chosen linens, draping, lanterns, candles, and florals that I designed and arranged myself. I also created the dessert display and co-managed event logistics to ensure every element came together seamlessly.

One of the most impactful features of the event was the time tunnel. Guests walked through a curated visual story of the couple’s life together, filled with photos, moments, and milestones. It was more than an entrance. It left lasting impressions and invited everyone to pause and reflect on a love that had endured five decades.

Working with Claire Anderson on the graphics was a highlight. Watching the tapestries I envisioned for menu signs take form through her work felt like magic. Green Mangos Catering was a wonderful partner throughout the process, and I was grateful to bring in Raag for desserts after first working with them two years ago.

This celebration was filled with heart, and it was an honor to help create a space that held the joy, depth, and beauty of a fifty-year love story.
