AdFed: The Show 2025 explored the tension between artificial intelligence and human intelligence, blending technology and creativity to pose bold questions about the future of our industry. This year marked my third time contributing to the show, and I was thrilled to help bring another ambitious concept to life. I managed key logistics such as city permits and tenting, while also contributing to the creative vision and execution. I designed a ceiling installation and co-developed interactive moments like an “all-seeing eye” that tracked and probed guests as they explored the space. One of the most talked-about features was a reflective room guests stumbled upon mid-event, only to realize a red light had been tracking them since their arrival. I also created a custom arm chandelier filled with working lightbulbs, paired with a fiberoptic wall that lit up on Hana April Inc's "Ring For" wall where guests pressed a button and received a cookie. My favorite touch were the lights hanging from the sides of the balcony that I programmed to look like Matrix-style green dripping code. Other highlights included an AI body scanner repurposed from our magazine booth, a mystery tattoo activation, standout food stations, an AI vs. HI vending machine, and a photo op that captured the playfulness of the theme. Each year, I love pushing creative boundaries and reimagining how guests interact with storytelling in physical space. The 2025 show sparked conversation, surprise, and just the right amount of unease and I was proud to be part of the team that made it happen.
