Designing for Dove’s CROWN Act activation was more than just a creative opportunity. It was deeply personal to me. I had previously advocated for the legislation by writing to my representatives while living in New York, so being part of this event carried real meaning. We designed an entire space that aligned with Dove’s brand colors, brought in furniture, and created an inviting environment for everyone who wandered through. I used Dove’s values as my guide, choosing florals that felt natural, grounded, and quietly powerful. Every stem was selected to reflect the brand’s commitment to authenticity and beauty in all its forms.
My favorite moment of the day was giving the CROWN girl her flowers. The final installation felt intentional and aligned not just with the message, but with what I believe in as both a designer and a person.
